Mini-Gig Programme

Brudenell Social Club

21/09/25

Welcome to our Made with Music mini-gig! We’re so pleased you could join us today for three different acts - you can find more information about them below. Don’t forget to ask the musicians any questions you have after their set. Made with Music is an award winning charity and believe that everyone should have access to live music. We run these mini-gigs regularly at the Brudenell Social Club as well as other events for families to enjoy together. We try to make everything we do accessible and inclusive for everyone so please let us know if we can do anything to make today easier for you. Have fun!

FIG BY FOUR

Fig by Four is the solo project of Sarah Statham. She sings and plays guitar, drums, bass and all of the other instruments on her recordings. When performing sometimes Sarah has a live band made up of friends to bring the songs to life and today she’ll be joined by Alex on vocals and keys. Fig by Four has an album ‘Capture Reveal’, with a second being finished at the moment. Sarah’s vibrant and characterful songs are filled with appreciation and gratitude, expressing a love for community and sense of hope and connection with people and the world around her.

AUGUSTIN BOUSFIELD

Augustin Bousfield’s music is a fascinating blend of progressive synth-pop, funk, and retro-futuristic electronic sounds. Produced from his Bradford studio, his style has elements of Max Tundra, John Grant, A.G. Cook, Hall & Oates, Syd Barrett, and Scritti Politti, with hints of kosmische rock, avant-pop, and IDM. Bousfield has also collaborated with artists like Saint Etienne, co-writing and producing their recent albums, I’ve Been Trying to Tell You and The Night, as well as writing upcoming tunes with Saint Etienne and Nick Heyward, and Vince Clarke.

MEANWOOD VALLEY STOMPERS

David’s playing is seeped in the tradition of American folk and blues guitar, from the rags of Blind Blake and Reverend Gary Davis, to the delta blues of Robert Johnson and Charley Patton. He is also an accomplished harmonica player in the country blues tradition of Sonny Boy Williamson I and Sonny Terry. His reworking of traditional songs breathes new life into well worn standards and his original compositions give a nod to the rootsy side of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Townes Van Zandt.
