Welcome to our Made with Music mini-gig! We’re so pleased you could join us today for three different acts - you can find more information about them below. Don’t forget to ask the musicians any questions you have after their set. Made with Music is an award winning charity and believe that everyone should have access to live music. We run these mini-gigs regularly at the Brudenell Social Club as well as other events for families to enjoy together. We try to make everything we do accessible and inclusive for everyone so please let us know if we can do anything to make today easier for you. Have fun!
AFROBABY
Described by BBC Introducing as having a “Fresh Empowering Sound,” Afrobaby is a British/Nigerian artist based in Bradford, celebrated for her vibrant genre-blending music and introspective, soulful lyrics. Drawing inspiration from electronic, indie, RnB, downtempo house, and liquid drum and bass, Afrobaby crafts music that sparks vulnerable conversations and emotional connection. Her debut EP, SAFE SPACE, released in November 2024, explores themes of mental health, self-discovery, and love, offering listeners a raw and relatable journey.
HANNAH ROWE
Hannah Rowe is a singer songwriter who has created an organic buzz for her own jazz-infused, soulful sound. After selling out iconic Leeds venues like The Wardrobe, Belgrave Music Hall and The Brudenell, Hannah quickly became a Yorkshire favourite and was coined by Crash Records as "the next big thing". Hannah and her 10-piece band of best friends spent summer 2024 performing across the UK for huge audiences at major festivals, celebrating the release of their debut EP, "Fluent In Silence".
UTAH SAINT
Utah Saints have been making music, DJ'ing and playing gigs around the globe since the birth of House Music. They have released 9 Top 40 UK hits, 4 of which hit the Top 10 and sold over 2 million records worldwide. Precariously walking the tightrope between genres and the underground and mainstream, Utah Saints roots are firmly in electronic dance music. Having met in a club in Leeds at the beginning of the rave movement in the UK they've subsequently established themselves as pioneers of sampling in dance music.
