We believe ALL families should have access to live music. For many of the families we work with, this is almost impossible because of health complications, financial strains, access requirements and many other barriers.
We are working hard to reduce these barriers and provide extra support for families who want to enjoy live music together but can’t for whatever reason. We do this by providing extra information and facilities at our classes and events, as well as subsidised and free tickets. We also work closely with partner organisations to develop and share our knowledge of creating accessible spaces, and we support families in hospital to access music.
One of the biggest expenses we incur is hiring a changing places toilet for our mini-gigs. This is a fully accessible mobile toilet for older disabled children and adults providing a safe place to go to the toilet; something most of us take for granted. Each time we hire this, it costs us around £500 and as with everything, costs are going up.

Having regular donations from the Friends scheme will help us to provide this more widely and more frequently.
How To Become a Friend of Made with Music
As a friend, you will get exclusive newsletters with behind the scenes information about Made with Music, a Friends reception once a year and priority booking for our mini-gigs (which always sell out!) You can also pick up a pin badge for free next time you attend a Made with Music event.
You can become an official friend of Made with Music with a yearly donation of £35 per year (this can be cancelled at any time).
